Faelon always seemed to be laying his head on Reuben's butt; but being a dominant dog, Faelon would never allow Reuben to return the favor. At the end, on what I knew would be my last night with Reuben as his cancer was getting worse, I was rubbing his head while he rested on the floor saying my goodbyes. Faelon walked over and laid down behind Reuben licking him a few times on the leg. Then he rested his head on Reuben's butt one last time as if to say his own goodbyes to his good friend. | ||
